Finding the Spark

Q1 10:00
In September 2020, I started Mechanical Engineering at the University of Windsor.


Q1 6:32
I spent 1.5 years in Engineering and had a great start to my basketball career at Windsor.
I was named an Academic All Canadian and appeared in 22 games.

In Winter 2023 I enrolled in an Intro to HTML course just for fun, but really had no idea what I was getting into.
Built my first HTML/CSS coded webpage (A mockup of a fictional clothing store called 3am Studios).

End of 1st
I made the decision to transfer schools half way through my 3rd year.
This gave me a chance to pursue new academic goals and enroll in a UX Design related program.

In Winter 2025 I worked a project that solved a real problem.
For a class project my group and I worked directly with a local non profit organization to redesign their website and brand identity, building them a prototype in Figma.

I opened a google business account and called my studio mascd studios. (a play on my last name)

My friend and I put together a slide show pitch to present to an architecture firm and we landed our first client!

As I enter my final year of studies, I’m focused on refining my skills, exploring the evolving future of design, and understanding how AI will shape the industry. At the same time, I’m committed to expanding my freelance business and continuing to grow as a designer.
